Roots in Italy, Vision in Europe
Foreste Urbane is a Social Enterprise and APS founded in Puglia, Italy. For over a decade, we have been at the forefront of rural regeneration, merging environmental protection with social innovation. We believe that rural areas are vibrant hubs for education, inclusion, and a sustainable European economy.
Our goal is to create sustainable "Green Hubs" where communities and nature meet. We operate across borders to foster exchange and innovation:
International Cooperation: Extensive expertise in managing Erasmus+ (KA1, KA2) and European Social Fund (ESF) initiatives.
Social Farming: Developing models like our "Farm Hub" to promote social inclusion and rural entrepreneurship.
Landscape & Biodiversity: Designing and implementing urban forestry projects to combat climate change and restore local ecosystems.
